Elk Herd Bull, Cow & Calf Elk
OMG the Elk were EVERYWHERE!!!! Hunter or Wildlife watcher the town of Packwood Washington just may have more Elk and Deer than People.. ;-) I was just passing through and I just Could Not Believe what I was seeing the Animals are near tame I was within 5 feet of 1 of them at some point. One of the Biggest Cervidae may not be as tall as a moose but ALMOST Wapiti or whatever you may want to call this Game Species they are Beautiful. I will Guarantee you they will not Be in town for Hunting Season... Packwood, Wa would for sure be the place get a Elk Tag. However I think that it would be a Great 2-4 day getaway just to relax and Visit all of the pretty sites to see. Mt St Helens, Mt Rainier, Mt Adams and National Parks and Forestry land to explore.
